the legato collection
The legato Triple Sconce was born from the Legato Single Sconce. Its aesthetic is highly influenced by the works of Alex Liberman and brutalism as a whole. A common theme along the Legato line is rhythmic grouping and a juxtopostion of materiality.

Development
The design and development process for the Legato Triple was closely tied to the cardboard mock ups and shop drawings. The mock ups were essential for creating proportion and figuring out dimensions to call out in prototype drawings. Before CAD was ever implemented there had to be a strong base of what we were dealing with on a wall in physical space. Later there were tweaks to the final drawing after the real product was developed further by the factory.
Additional collateral was created to help go along with the new Fuse look. We created a booklet to give a better idea of the thought process behind the Fuse collection.
